Record-setting temps settle over Amarillo

Today's warm weather will make the record books. Temperatures in Amarillo rose to 84 degrees by 1:30 p.m. today, breaking the previous record high of 83 degrees, set 100 years ago in 1909, said Chris Kimble, meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Amarillo.
